Ever Heard Of A Member Site?

Just how much information do we give away for free?  I have a blog, a newsletter and a special report that are all free to anyone who wants to view them.  This is common amongst the online business world.  It’s a great way to get people interested in your business.  What if you could charge for some of this information?  You CAN!!  There are a lot of businesses setting up membership sites.  This would allow you to charge a nominal fee to all subscribers in order to receive information.  Not to mention you can charge for some online Coaching.  Most member sites have an open forum where all paying subscribers can ask and answer questions of each other.  You, as the owner, could stimulate conversation around Coaching topics.

You have the opportunity to promote your products whenever you want and however you want. You’d get to suggest your Coaching teleclass, group or one-on-one packages when a participant could benefit from them.  Best of all, everyone there WANTS to be there.  They wouldn’t pay for it if they didn’t.  Each member is a prospect for you.

There is also the possibility for getting paid advertising.  Do you have some Strategic Alliances set up?  This is the perfect place to offer them advertising.  They get to advertise to their target market directly.

There are many ways to set up a member site on your website.  If you have a Web Designer that will put it together for you, then great!!  If not, there are programs such as A Member (http://www.amember.com) that will help you get going.  Amember can work with a WordPress site and 1ShoppingCart.  Start a member site today and stop giving away all of your information.
